The School for Compassionate Action is a teacher training and service organization created to meet the psycho-spiritual needs of at risk communities, those who serve them, and those who would like to teach them.
As an integration of mind body therapies, SCA draws together the practices of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, yoga therapy and contemplative psychotherapy. The SCA teachers possess the capacity to meet the whole person, in whatever ways might be of most benefit and with tools that are practical and accessible.
Our dedication and intention is to empower others to help themselves, to find ease in difficult situations, offer compassionate skills for living with greater peace and clarity in both the at risk and in need communities and the caregivers that serve them.
We will be launching the School for Compassionate Action in San Francisco in the latter part of 2016 -- the communities we wish to engage with and train others to work with are -

Chronic Pain and Illness
Our Aging Communities
