The School for Compassionate Action is an EMBODIED MINDFULNESS FACILITATION training composed of individual workshops that taken as a whole comprise a 100 hour teacher training.
Embodied Mindfulness integrates and draws together the practices of mindfulness, meditation, mindful yoga, yoga therapy and contemplative psychology as it applies to at risk and in need communities.
Our dedication and intention is to empower others to help themselves, to find ease in difficult situations, offer compassionate skills for living with greater peace and clarity in both the at risk and in need communities and for the professional or volunteer caregivers that serve them. Special emphasis is placed on practices that help avoid compassion fatigue and burn out in professional caregiving fields.
We will be launching the School for Compassionate Action in San Francisco in the early Spring of 2017 -
Please contact us if you would like to join us in any capacity.
